John is a counsellor and trainer with RNIB.  He is also in private practice as a counsellor and as a freelance trainer in the fields of counselling and adult education.

For WITNESS John has trained groups of social workers, counsellors, advocates, psychologists, mental health service users, PALS/ICAS workers and multidisciplinary teams.
