Key Skills and Experience 
Joy is an experienced trainer having worked across a number of sectors including panel members and staff of professional regulatory bodies, pastoral workers and GPs. 

She has worked in the NHS and in private practice and has trained counsellors and psychotherapists in Further & Higher Education and in the private sector.  

Joy is a UKCP registered psychotherapist and a BACP accredited counsellor and trainer.







Currently she is a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader for the BACP accredited Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling at Leeds Metropolitan University.
